As an avid fan of Rodial, I'm always delighted to trial a new range. Ahead of this year's Cannes Film Festival, the pressure was on to get my skin red carpet ready, and I knew exactly who to turn to. Meeting up with Rachael and Caitlin, my two beautiful friends from Rodial, they talked me through the new line which included the super Vitamin C range and as well as the Pink Diamond Day and Night Gel.
Vitamin C is known for its skin charging hydration, brightening and regenerative properties. Caitlin and Rachal gave me the Vitamin C serum to try as well as the day cream enriched with SPF 30. A few days into using the serum and the day cream, I saw my skin brighten and even out, with the texture and overall radiance improved.
I also began using the Pink Dimond Magic Day and Night Gel, which is fused with diamond powder, vitamin C and retinol to speed up renewal and also give a light diffusing, lit from within glow.
Initially, I was worried that with my fragile skin the retinol would be too much, but it was super gentle and non-abrasive, at the same time promoting a gentle resurfacing of the superficial epidermis allowing the ingredients to work on a deeper level.
With the festival in full swing, I was enjoying one too many late nights and parties, with unforgiving early starts, but my skin held out, and I was impressed with the plumping and lifting effect of the combination.
For someone who's used Rodial for many years, I know I'm in safe hands, and once again I was impressed with the efficacy and creativity of this cult brand which is committed to Vegan, cruelty-free cosmeceuticals.
